4th gen 4runner center diff lock blinking

I might've accidentally tapped the diff lock because when I tried making a turn, things didn't seem right. The VSC Off, central diff lock, and four wheel drive indicator is on w/ four wheel indicator blinking. I'd appreciate it if people can give me some advice on what I can do to fix it. Even on the highway I rarely go over 300 miles/tank which IMO is too short for an ExPo vehicle. I note that the 4th gen 4runners have a 24 gallon tank. (after I got out of my snowy driveway, I put the truck in 2wd and it appeared to shut off the 4WD Hi lamp). It was indeed in 2WD. VSC off and 4WD lo lamps were blinking the whole time. It that center differential that makes the 4th gen 4runner different from almost all other 4x4s. yea 4runner 2003 4Runner Sport 4.7 V8 Silver/Grey - Fr/Rr ARB Locker - OME 885/895 - LR UCA - BFG KM2 255/80/17- RCI Skids - Demello Sliders - Bud Hidden Winch- Runva Winch - Synthetic oils- Trail Stripes - Two Baby Seats... The center orange light (the indicator of locking the front and rear together) is constantly blinking. Pushing the lock button does nothing. The green 4x4 "wheels" lights do turn off and on when I push the 4x4 button, but it's always in 4x4 regardless. There are 4th gens with a rear locker (the Trail Edition), and there are 3rd gens with the locking center diff and rear diff lock ('01-'02 Limited). 4th gens have the V8, and it's a good one. And it's easy enough to retrofit the elocker diff in either model, so don't let that stop you if you find one you like. 4th gen V6s have head gasket ...I believe the V8 4Runner was only available in 2wd or full time 4wd (aka AWD). It has a center diff lock to use on loose surfaces. It is possibly the best option for winter weather, but not as capable for off-roading.
